Fr Michael Moss ordained
Michael Moss was ordained in December 1990 at Plymouth Cathedral.

Colombo House
The refurbishment of Colombo house was completed in 1990 enabling it to offer a long term residential unit for young people with a learning difficulty based on the second floor and nine places for respite care for people with learning difficulties on the ground floor. The respite unit offered anything from one hour to three months care in order that parents could get much needed rest. It also had a small day care centre at the rear of the building offering training and education to young people over 19 years of age with a learning difficulty.

Fiftieth Anniversary of Don Orione’s Death
On 12th March 1990, a group of English and Irish pilgrims joined thousands from all over the world at a memorial Mass in San Remo in Italy to commemorate fiftieth anniversary of the death of Don Orione. A few weeks later, on 7th May, a memorial Mass was celebrated at Westminster Cathedral in London.

Fr Stephen Beale ordained
Stephen Beale was ordained in August 1992 in the Sacred Heart Church in Teddington.

St. Francis House, Buntingford
St. Francis House in Buntingford was closed in 1992 due to a change in the care of people with learning disabilities away from large institutional centres. The residents were all found alternative accommodation.

Zerka, Jordan
On 6th May 1993, at Zerka in Jordan, the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem opened the newly built Church adjoining the vocational training school. The church was built with the aid of benefactors from Britain, Ireland, Italy, Germany and the Nethelands and was dedicated to ‘Our Lady Queen of Peace’.

Bridge Magazine
In 1995 the ‘Bridge’ Magazine was brought up to date with a switch from production using the old ‘cut and paste’ technique to production on a computer using a widely used Desk Top Publishing Software package.

Home for elderly people at Shorne in Kent
In 1996 it was decided to sell Malthouse Cottage, which was part of the Home for elderly people at Shorne in Kent as it would have needed extensive refurbishment to keep it running as a home. Its tenants were found alternative accommodation.

Retreat Centre
In 1997 the Walthew Green Farmhouse was completely refurbished and besides providing accommodation for the religious community it was made available as a retreat centre for small parish groups.

Colombo House
In May 1998 Colombo House ceased to care for children with learning disabilities because of a reduction in the demand for the service due to a change of policy on the part of the local authorities.

Molsey Venture
The Molsey Venture was becoming financially unviable due to increasing running costs and so it was closed in June 1998.
